Breaking Bread and Building Bonds: Lyons & Hohl's Annual Company Breakfast Meeting

At Lyons & Hohl, our annual company breakfast meeting isn't just a gathering—it's a celebration of our team's dedication, hard work, and achievements. Held at the renowned Shady Maple Smorgasbord, this event brings together our Site Contracting and Paving divisions for a morning of reflection, appreciation, and looking ahead.

This year, as we delved into the "state of the company," we took a moment to reflect on our humble beginnings. It all started with Greg Lyons and Ron Hohl, armed with nothing but a Case 530 backhoe, installing sewer laterals. From those early days, Lyons & Hohl has blossomed into the thriving entity it is today.

Lyons & Hohl annual breakfast meeting to discuss the success of our team

As we sipped coffee and shared stories, we couldn't help but acknowledge the milestone work anniversaries approaching this year. Among them, none shone brighter than Ron K., marking an incredible 40 years with us. It's this kind of dedication that forms the bedrock of our company.

Reviewing the projects of the past year, we were thrilled to announce record-breaking success—a testament to the unwavering commitment of each and every member of our team. And that success isn't just numbers on a balance sheet; it translates into tangible benefits for everyone through our profit-sharing plan.

But our commitment to our team doesn't end when they retire. That's why we make it a point to invite JFS Wealth Advisors to present the current status of our 401K plan, ensuring that our people are taken care of long after they've hung up their boots. Throughout the day, everyone has the opportunity to sit down with the advisors, tailoring their plans to suit their individual needs.

More than just a meeting, our annual breakfast is a chance to express our gratitude. It's a moment to break bread together and convey how deeply appreciative we are of the hard work and dedication that each team member brings to the table. With plenty of work on the horizon, we're excited for what the future holds and grateful for the opportunity to embark on another successful year together.
